Job Description
The
Director of Nursing
is responsible for the overall direction, management, and efficiency of clinical services at AccelHealth. This role ensures smooth clinic operations while aligning with the organization’s objectives and policies.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Developing short- and long-term goals for the nursing department.
- Establishing new policies and updating existing ones to maintain and improve the standard of patient care.
- Coordinating with medical staff, department chiefs, and other teams to optimize clinic workflow and overall health center efficiency.
- Providing direct supervision to the Assistant Director of Nursing and Nursing Supervisors.
The DON plays a critical leadership role in guiding clinical teams, enhancing patient care, and supporting a collaborative, high-functioning healthcare environment.
Key Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience
- RN or LVN accepted
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Experience in a clinic or FQHC setting preferred
