Prepress Production Artist
Role summary
StickerBros, a rapidly expanding custom printing company, seeks a detail-oriented Prepress Production Artist to prepare customer artwork for print and cut production. The role involves creating cut lines, organizing layers, setting up high-volume print files, and optimizing artwork for production. Key responsibilities include ensuring files are correctly sized, spaced, and free of issues like incorrect resolution, bleed, or color modes. The artist will collaborate with the production team to maintain efficiency and accuracy. This full-time, onsite position requires strong Adobe Illustrator skills and a focus on fast, accurate, and production-ready file setup.

StickerBros is a fast-growing custom printing company specializing in high-quality stickers, labels, and packaging. We’re scaling quickly and looking for a detail-oriented Prepress Production Artist to help prepare customer artwork for print and cut production.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and set up customer artwork for print and cut production
- Create and apply cut lines for die-cut stickers and labels
- Organize and manage layers correctly for print workflows
- Set up high-volume print files (step & repeat / gang sheets)
- Ensure files are properly sized, spaced, and optimized for production
- Check artwork for issues (resolution, bleed, color mode, etc.)
- Work closely with our production team to maintain efficiency and accuracy
Requirements
- Strong experience with Adobe Illustrator (required)
- Understanding of cut lines, bleed, and print-ready file setup
- Experience working with layers and organized file structures
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining high attention to detail
- Comfortable handling high-volume, repetitive production work
- Strong problem-solving skills for fixing customer artwork issues
Bonus Skills
- Experience in a print shop or sign shop environment
- Familiarity with RIP software (Onyx, Caldera, etc.)
- Experience setting up files for large format or print & cut workflows
