CNAPP Hybrid Prisma Cloud Engineer (Palo Alto Networks)
Role summary
StopAHack.com is seeking a CNAPP Hybrid Prisma Cloud Engineer to deliver professional services for end customers, focusing on Palo Alto Networks Prisma Cloud deployments. This hybrid role requires one day per week onsite at the customer's office. Responsibilities include implementing and managing Prisma Cloud capabilities (CSPM, CWPP), optimizing policies, planning migrations, supporting upgrades, and collaborating with customer and Palo Alto Networks teams. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Prisma Cloud, a DevOps/cloud engineering background, knowledge of GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Python scripting, and strong consulting/communication skills. A minimum of 3 years leading security solution delivery in large environments is required.

The role
You will be a
W-2 employee
of StopAHack assigned to deliver
Palo Alto Networks Prisma Cloud
professional services for end customers. Day-to-day work is coordinated by
Palo Alto Networks
project leads and the end client. End client identities remain confidential until you complete interviews and required background checks.
This is a
hybrid
assignment with an onsite requirement of
one day per week
at the customer office, based on program needs.
What you will do
- Provide technical guidance and hands-on delivery for customers deploying
Prisma Cloud
and related security integrations.
- Assess the customer environment, requirements, and security roadmap, then recommend and implement the right
Prisma Cloud
capabilities.
- Configure, implement, and maintain
Prisma Cloud
across
CSPM
,
CWPP (Compute)
, and integration points as required by the customer environment.
- Optimize, standardize, and migrate policies and objects from an existing environment to
Prisma Cloud
.
- Plan and execute migrations, including test and validation of the migration environment and coordinated cutover to production.
- Support upgrades and lifecycle management, including guidance for
Prisma Cloud
platform updates and configuration changes.
- Partner with customer stakeholders and Palo Alto Networks teams including
Sales
,
Engineering
, and
TAC
to diagnose issues, remove blockers, and drive outcomes.
- Develop and refine operational documentation including implementation plans, runbooks, and executive-ready status updates.
- Contribute feedback on product integrations by documenting what is working, what is not, and recommended improvements.
- Support customer enablement through knowledge transfer sessions, workshops, and leadership-level presentations.
What you bring (must-have)
- Hands-on experience implementing and operating
Prisma Cloud
in enterprise or large-scale environments.
- Consulting or solutions architecture background, ideally with a
DevOps
or cloud engineering foundation.
- Strong comfort presenting to customers and leadership, with strong consulting skills and executive communication.
- Knowledge of
GCP
in production environments.
- Mid to advanced experience with
Docker
and
Kubernetes
.
- Automation and
CI/CD
pipeline exposure.
- Scripting ability with
Python
(beginner or above), plus experience or familiarity with
RQL
.
- Strong writing, documentation, and customer communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams under pressure.
- 3+ years leading or delivering security solutions in large environments (or equivalent experience).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, business, or equivalent education and experience.

- Experience developing or tuning detections and policy aligned to customer standards and threat models.
- Experience working with
