Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, developing insightful reports, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. This role requires a strong foundation in data analysis tools and methodologies, with a focus on delivering actionable business insights. The successful applicant will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance data-driven strategies and optimize operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL, R, Python, and other analytical tools.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations utilizing Tableau, Power BI, and Visio to communicate findings effectively.
- Design and implement database solutions with Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and database design best practices.
- Support project management activities within Agile frameworks and contribute to the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes.
- Conduct business analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Create detailed documentation of data workflows, analysis procedures, and project deliverables.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data analysis with strong analytical skills and proficiency in SQL, R or Python.
- Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, Visio, and other visualization tools.
- Knowledge of database management systems including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management principles.
- Understanding of SDLC processes for software development projects.
- Strong business analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data into clear insights.
- Experience in database design and data modeling techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
