Position Summary:
The Product Manager, SQA Mass Production manages and leads the inspection of incoming quality of supplied parts used by mass production manufacturing shops.
Outline of duties:
- Provides direct management of salaried Group Leaders and indirect management of the Section's hourly Associates and Engineering Staff.
- Oversee the development of investigation strategies.
- Oversee and support daily staffing needs.
- Responsibility for Section inspection processes to ensure quality targets are met.
- Management and oversight of Section TPM, Kaizen and Training activities.
- Ensure compliance to all SIA policies and procedures.
- Responsibility for Safety of all Associates in section.
- Support all budget planning/controls.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, related field, or equivalent combination of relavent experience and education
- Four years of relevant experience including previous supervisory experience within a manufacturing facility
- Willingness and ability to rotate between 1st and 2nd shift assignments on a schedule or as needed
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in relavent field
- Previous management experience in automotive manufacturing
- Previous experience within project management field
