About The Role
Seneca Technologies is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team and support operational reporting and stakeholder needs within a federal financial environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business users, executives, and technical teams to translate complex business requirements into effective data solutions and reports. This role involves developing and maintaining a variety of reports that support decision-making, oversight, compliance, and operational efficiency. The Data Analyst will work extensively with the Artiva debt collections platform, leveraging their expertise to generate insights and analytics that inform strategic initiatives. The position requires strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that reporting outputs are accurate, timely, and aligned with organizational standards.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
  • Five or more years of experience in a data analyst or similar analytical role
  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL, specifically InterSystems Cache SQL
  • Proven experience producing operational, executive, and compliance or regulatory reports
  • Required experience with the Artiva debt collections platform
  • Ability to work directly with business users and executives to gather and refine requirements
  • Experience communicating business requirements to software developers and technical teams
  • U.S. Citizen capable of passing security clearances for government contracts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance operational, executive, and compliance-related reports to support decision-making and oversight
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries using InterSystems Cache SQL for data extraction, analysis, and validation
  • Support reporting, analytics, and operational insights within the Artiva debt collections platform
  • Engage with business users and executive stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document business and reporting requirements
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for software developers and technical teams
  • Provide ongoing support to stakeholders by responding to data requests, explaining analytical results, and ensuring reporting accuracy and consistency
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and reviews
  • Contribute to data-related testing, validation, and enhancement activities
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with organizational and federal standards
