About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Revenue Management Domain team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing enterprise applications that facilitate hotel onboarding, data management, and rate plan distribution. Your expertise will contribute to modernizing legacy systems, delivering impactful software projects, and ensuring the resiliency and security of our application portfolio. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, quality assurance, and product management, to develop scalable, high-performance solutions that support our global hotel network. Your technical proficiency in ReactJS, Java, Spring framework, and AWS environments will be instrumental in driving innovation and operational excellence within the Revenue Management domain.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development or information systems
- Proficiency in ReactJS, NextJS, Tailwind, TypeScript, React Testing Library
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Node.js
- Experience with Java 17+ and Spring MVC framework
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
- Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle, MSSQL, or equivalent
- Experience with source control tools like Git or Subversion
- Understanding of web service protocols including REST and SOAP
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems
- Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and support of enterprise software components within the Revenue Management systems
- Design, code, and review technical specifications for new features and enhancements
- Collaborate with QA teams during testing phases to ensure software quality and performance
- Manage production releases, providing support during rollout and post-deployment
- Work closely with operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve major incidents, including on-call support
- Enhance service resiliency and optimize the performance of production infrastructure
- Select and develop tools for design, debugging, diagnostics, monitoring, and security analysis
- Participate in third-party system analysis to identify integration opportunities
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software development
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to modernize legacy systems and improve application stability
