About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Back-end Engineer II to join our dynamic team working on the Vault initiative, a critical component of our security product suite. In this role, you will contribute to enhancing our secure, scalable, and reliable agent-based workloads management system. You will collaborate with global teams and senior engineers to design, develop, and optimize core features that ensure the highest standards of security and performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of security engineering, leveraging modern programming languages and AI-assisted development tools to deliver innovative solutions. Qualifications

• Proven experience in programming languages such as Go, Rust, Java, or Python
• Strong understanding of APIs and system design principles
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and security engineering
• Experience with or willingness to adopt AI engineering tools
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative team environment
• Experience in debugging, resolving customer issues, and developing code fixes
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and enhancements for the Vault security product stream
• Participate in design discussions, evaluate options, and implement components under guidance from senior engineers
• Write secure, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code following best engineering practices
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve code quality and productivity
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of shared components
• Contribute to architecture reviews, code assessments, and sprint planning sessions
• Engage in debugging, performance optimization, incident analysis, and operational improvements
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure robust test coverage and observability
• Provide timely updates to technical leads and collaborate with product managers to clarify requirements
• Assist in cross-geography coordination to resolve technical issues and incorporate feedback
