About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst / AWS QuickSight Administrator & Developer to join our dynamic Data Analytics team. This hybrid role combines responsibilities in BI platform administration, dashboard development, and advanced data analysis within a fast-paced retail environment. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their analytical needs, translate these into effective solutions, and develop impactful dashboards that support strategic decision-making. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud-based BI tools, contribute to data-driven initiatives, and influence business outcomes through insightful analytics. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for leveraging data to solve complex retail challenges.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, and data visualization.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS QuickSight administration and dashboard development.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL; Python experience is considered an asset.
  • Proven experience working in the retail industry, particularly in sales, inventory, margins, promotions, e-commerce, or omnichannel analytics.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business teams and translate their needs into technical solutions.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization principles and user-centric dashboard design.
  • Experience working within Agile development environments.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and continuously improve the AWS QuickSight platform, including user management, security protocols, governance policies, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, interactive dashboards that provide actionable insights to business users.
  • Create, manage, and optimize datasets from multiple data sources to support comprehensive analysis.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements, document functional needs, and ensure alignment between analytical solutions and business objectives.
  • Perform in-depth data analyses to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for operational improvements, particularly in retail and omnichannel contexts.
  • Communicate complex insights clearly and effectively through data storytelling techniques tailored to non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers, Product Owners, IT teams, and business partners to ensure seamless data integration and platform functionality.
  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of BI standards, best practices, and visualization guidelines to ensure consistency and quality across analytics deliverables.
