About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and operationalizing robust data pipelines that facilitate data availability for reporting and advanced analytics. Your expertise will ensure the seamless ingestion, transformation, validation, and optimization of large-scale data systems. Collaborating closely with DevSecOps engineers, you will participate in continuous integration and deployment processes to maintain high-quality, reliable data infrastructure. Your work will support our mission to improve health outcomes by enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or a related quantitative or business field
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in data engineering, data management, or related roles
  • Proficiency in ETL processes and tools
  • Strong SQL skills, with experience in Snowflake or similar data warehousing solutions
  • Knowledge of data pipeline design, data validation, and quality assurance
  • Experience with programming languages used for data architecture development
  • Understanding of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support business intelligence and analytics needs
  • Implement standardized procedures for data staging, ingestion, preparation, provisioning, and destruction
  • Build and optimize high-performance data structures for large-scale data processing
  • Create real-time processing applications and data pipelines to support live analytics
  • Ensure data quality and integrity as data moves across various environments
  • Engage with DevSecOps teams to integrate data solutions within CI/CD workflows
  • Provide insights into evolving data environments and recommend improvements for data reliability and efficiency
  • Identify automation opportunities to streamline data processing tasks
  • Develop, test, document, and operate data architectures using appropriate programming tools
  • Maintain compliance with organizational policies and industry standards
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support organizational goals
