About The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and creative Staff UX Product Designer to join our growing Design organization. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design efforts for a specific vertical within our platform, focusing on enhancing both new and existing customer experiences. Your expertise will help craft intuitive, customer-centric solutions that resonate with a diverse user base, ranging from seasoned traders to newcomers. You will own the end-to-end design process, collaborating closely with product management and engineering teams to develop innovative design solutions that align with business objectives. Your leadership will also ensure the maintenance and continuous improvement of our Design System, fostering a culture of design excellence and innovation. As a mentor, you will guide other designers, promote best practices, and contribute to a collaborative environment that values creativity and high-quality output. Effective communication of complex design concepts to stakeholders, including senior leadership, will be a key aspect of this role, ensuring alignment and buy-in across teams.
Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in interaction design, visual design, and information architecture
• Experience working on cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
• Proven track record of delivering innovative, customer-centric design solutions for complex products
• Deep knowledge of modern design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other research and prototyping tools
• Experience contributing to and maintaining Design Systems in a collaborative setting
• Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, capable of advocating for design decisions to diverse audiences including senior leadership
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance user needs, technical constraints, and business goals
• Experience or familiarity with financial markets, futures trading, or investment platforms is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive design initiatives for a specific vertical, ensuring the delivery of impactful user experiences
• Own the entire design lifecycle from research and ideation to prototyping and implementation
• Collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering teams to develop innovative and feasible design solutions
• Maintain high standards of design quality across visual and interaction design, usability, and accessibility
• Contribute to the evolution and refinement of the Design System to support platform growth
• Mentor and provide guidance to fellow designers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
• Participate in design critiques, product discussions, and collaborative sessions to shape the overall design direction
• Effectively communicate complex design concepts and rationale to internal teams and external stakeholders
• Drive product-led growth by designing intuitive features that enhance user engagement and satisfaction

• Competitive salary range of $150,000 to $190,000 USD, with an annual target bonus of 12%
