Your role involves designing, developing, and owning critical parts of our codebase, contributing to core infrastructure, and solving complex security and scalability challenges. You will work autonomously and collaborate closely with product and design teams to make strategic technical decisions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about privacy, security, and building user-centric solutions that are both reliable and innovative. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in mobile app development, particularly with Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift 5)
- Strong understanding of security principles, encryption, and data privacy
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS, DynamoDB, and Postgres
- Familiarity with backend technologies and API development
- Experience with open-source projects and contribution is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain core features of Keepsafe’s mobile applications and infrastructure
- Implement and optimize security protocols, including encryption and key management
- Collaborate with product and design teams to define technical requirements and solutions
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay updated with industry best practices
- Assist in scaling infrastructure to support a growing user base
- Develop and improve cloud synchronization, data transcoding, and analytics tools
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities
