About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Data & AI Engineer to join our team to support the development and deployment of advanced AI solutions, particularly those focused on Generative AI (GenAI) and Data Lake architecture. This role involves leading the creation of scalable, production-ready AI/ML solutions utilizing AWS-native technologies. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, consulting environment, demonstrating proactive leadership, problem-solving skills, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining AI APIs, data pipelines, and real-time dashboards, ensuring seamless integration and deployment aligned with client needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with emerging AI technologies, contribute to innovative projects, and support clients in achieving their digital transformation goals.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related fields
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience designing, building, and deploying cloud-based ML or GenAI systems
  • Deep hands-on experience with AWS AI/ML services including Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, OpenSearch, and QuickSight
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming, especially in data manipulation, API development, and automation
  • Experience implementing retrieval-augmented generation, prompt orchestration, or LLMOps workflows (preferred)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and Git workflows
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy LLM-based APIs utilizing Amazon Bedrock, supporting models such as Claude, Titan, Nova, and Cohere
  • Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines using OpenSearch and S3 for efficient data retrieval and processing
  • Build data pipelines for curated and raw data layers leveraging AWS Glue, Athena, and Lake Formation to ensure data quality and accessibility
  • Support the creation of real-time reporting and AI usage dashboards via Amazon QuickSight for monitoring and insights
  • Design serverless workflows using AWS Lambda and manage prompt metadata with DynamoDB to streamline AI interactions
  • Implement prompt orchestration strategies, including fallback handling, version control, and safety guardrails to ensure reliable AI outputs
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and DevOps teams to align AI/ML solutions with client and project objectives
  • Document technical solutions clearly and support onboarding processes for client teams during handoff
  • Stay updated with the latest AWS innovations in GenAI, MLOps, and scalable data platform technologies to incorporate best practices
