About The Role
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our Messaging and Email Experience team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining our communications platform, which is utilized by thousands of customers worldwide to facilitate multi-channel communication. The ideal candidate is passionate about designing, developing, deploying, and operating scalable software solutions. You should be a self-starter with a growth mindset, eager to deliver exceptional user experiences for next-generation communication services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex distributed systems, contribute to innovative projects, and support the continuous improvement of our platform in a collaborative environment.
Qualifications

• Experience building scalable software systems and working with distributed systems or infrastructure
• Proficiency in developing web applications that enhance customer and developer experiences
• Strong enthusiasm for technology, learning new tools, and working with emerging technologies
• Ability to champion good engineering practices, including development, testing, security, and agile methodologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Services
• Knowledge of configuration management and deployment systems

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable software solutions that support our messaging and email platforms
• Collaborate with a small, cross-functional team to brainstorm, design, and build full-stack products, APIs, and services
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure high standards of code quality and maintainability
• Support production environments by assisting with deployment, monitoring, and on-call incident management
• Create clear, comprehensive documentation to facilitate team knowledge sharing and onboarding
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including adopting new technologies and best practices
