About The Role
Vistage is seeking a meticulous and highly skilled Software Quality Engineer to join our remote QA team. This role is ideal for an individual who excels at identifying complex defects through detailed manual and exploratory testing. As a key member of our QA team, you will work directly with our core technology stack, which includes the Salesforce platform, WordPress, and various proprietary applications. Your primary responsibilities will involve designing and maintaining comprehensive test documentation, executing rigorous test plans, and collaborating with remote development teams to ensure our software products are reliable, scalable, and deliver exceptional value to our global membership. Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience as a Software Quality Engineer or similar role
• Deep expertise in manual testing, including exploratory and end-to-end testing
• Proficiency with QA tools such as JIRA and Xray or equivalent test management systems
• Hands-on experience testing Salesforce applications, including custom configurations and data integrity checks
• Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and browser debugging tools
• Ability to write and execute basic SQL queries for backend data validation
• Proven success working independently in a remote environment, managing workload effectively
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with distributed teams and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain detailed test plans, cases, and use cases covering functional, regression, and integration testing requirements
• Collaborate with product owners and developers to understand user stories and technical designs, ensuring comprehensive testing coverage
• Maintain up-to-date test documentation and quality assurance procedures reflecting current software features
• Execute manual, exploratory, regression, and user acceptance testing across web and mobile platforms
• Test integrations between systems such as Salesforce, WordPress, and proprietary tools to ensure seamless data flow and functionality
• Log, track, and manage defects meticulously using JIRA/Xray, providing clear reproduction steps and environment details
• Verify bug fixes and new deployments, ensuring quality standards are met without regressions
• Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to guarantee a consistent user experience
• Conduct basic data validation through SQL queries to ensure data integrity
• Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues proactively with remote teams and stakeholders
