About The Role
We are seeking a talented and driven Data Analyst to join our Credit team, a pivotal function that collaborates across Machine Learning, Product, Engineering, Capital Markets, and Commercial teams. This role is instrumental in managing the risk profile of our business while supporting the development and launch of innovative products and initiatives. The ideal candidate will utilize extensive data analytics to derive insights, develop credit strategies, and optimize purchasing power to balance risk and growth. You will play a crucial role in shaping credit underwriting models, supporting testing and experimentation, and ensuring the resilience and profitability of our portfolio. Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a data analyst or data scientist, preferably with a focus on consumer credit risk management
- Proficiency in SQL and Python; experience with Spark is a plus
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and applications is advantageous
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to dissect complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and influence decision-making processes
- Curiosity and passion for continuous learning and innovative problem-solving
- Degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience

Responsibilities
- Leverage experimentation and advanced data analytics to derive actionable insights for credit underwriting and risk management
- Dissect complex datasets to inform credit strategies that optimize purchasing power while balancing risk and growth
- Support the launch of new products by designing and implementing effective credit strategies aligned with business goals
- Play a key role in underwriting cost savings initiatives and enhancing portfolio profitability
- Partner with Machine Learning and Engineering teams to develop and refine credit risk models and capabilities
- Collaborate with Product teams to develop new features and improve existing offerings based on data-driven insights
- Work with Merchant Pricing and Finance teams to evaluate merchant value and facilitate discussions with investors
- Continuously monitor and evaluate credit performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to respond to market changes
