About The Role
The Associate Data Analyst at Comscore plays a vital role in onboarding client digital data into our measurement platforms and processes. This position involves working directly with clients to ensure seamless integration of their data, whether through standardized measurement solutions managed by Comscore or through direct partnerships. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain data integrity, optimize system performance, and deliver actionable insights that inform business decisions. A strong technical background, particularly in SQL, programming languages like Java or Python, and network analysis tools, is essential. The role requires a keen eye for detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to new technologies and workflows. The Associate Data Analyst will also create visualizations and reports to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders, supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related analytical field
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar
- Strong SQL skills with experience managing and optimizing relational databases (RDBMS)
- Experience with network sniffing and analysis tools like Charles Network Proxy, Wireshark, etc.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools, technologies, and business requirements
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Microsoft PowerBI is a plus
- Knowledge of automation tools like Microsoft PowerAutomate is a plus
Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that support business objectives
- Write, optimize, and manage complex SQL queries to interact with relational databases, ensuring data accuracy and performance efficiency
- Utilize network analysis tools such as Charles Proxy and Wireshark to monitor and analyze network traffic for troubleshooting and optimization
- Create and maintain data visualizations, charts, and reports to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to onboard digital data, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data quality
- Leverage automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks and improve workflow efficiency
- Diagnose client queries and provide timely, accurate solutions
- Work effectively within a team environment, sharing knowledge and supporting collective goals
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and incorporate them into work processes as appropriate
