to build and scale backend systems and platform infrastructure using modern cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in
Python and Django

cloud infrastructure on AWS
.
This role involves working closely with
product managers, designers, data scientists, and engineering teams
to design and implement reliable backend services that support scalable product delivery.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and Django.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, data scientists, and engineers to translate product requirements into robust backend solutions.
• Develop high-quality, low-defect code following best engineering practices.
• Build and maintain data management platforms and backend infrastructure.
• Work with AWS services such as Lambda, RDS, and S3 to support cloud-based applications.
• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases for performance and reliability.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using CircleCI to support automated deployment processes.
• Perform unit testing, system testing, and regression testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Research and adopt new technologies and methodologies to improve system architecture and development processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend performance and system issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Python backend development
• Strong expertise in Python and Django frameworks
• Experience building data management platforms
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure (Lambda, RDS, S3)
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL databases
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as CircleCI
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical priorities
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
