Duties
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using technologies such as C#, Java, Python, and Node.js, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and web services to facilitate smooth communication between front-end interfaces and backend systems.
- Implement microservices architecture leveraging AWS cloud services, Docker containers, and CI/CD pipelines for continuous deployment and integration.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to create responsive UI components using React, Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
- Develop database schemas and perform database design using Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and PL/SQL; ensure data integrity and security.
- Write comprehensive unit tests and conduct debugging to guarantee code quality; utilize tools like Visual Studio, Eclipse, GitHub, TFS, SVN for version control and project management.
- Participate actively in Agile development processes; contribute to system architecture diagrams using UML; adhere to SDLC best practices for efficient software development.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in software development with a strong focus on backend engineering in a startup or fast-growth environment.
- Extensive knowledge of ASP.NET (including ASP.NET Core), WCF (Windows Communication Foundation), SOAP/RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture, and Web services.
- Proficiency in front-end development frameworks such as React, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3; experience with UI/UX design principles.
- Solid understanding of multithreading concepts, debugging techniques, application development lifecycle (SDLC), and version control systems like GitHub or TFS.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure; experience deploying scalable applications using CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong database skills including SQL (T-SQL), NoSQL (MongoDB), PostgreSQL; knowledge of database design and optimization techniques.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs for integration with third-party services; knowledge of XML, JSON data formats.
- Knowledge of Linux environments and shell scripting (Bash) is a plus; familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban is preferred. Pay: $120,000.00 - $270,000.00 per year
