The Role

Join our highly collaborative Engineering Learning & Advocacy Team, where curiosity meets impact. We're looking for a Developer Advocate who's excited to experiment, educate, and elevate the developer experience across Fidelity.
In this role, you'll be at the center of innovation-championing new features, amplifying emerging technologies, and guiding thousands of developers toward smarter, more efficient engineering practices. If you thrive on connecting people with solutions, translating complex tech into clear value, and influencing technical strategy, this is your opportunity to make a real difference.
The Expertise And Skills You Bring

  • Hands-on training and development experience or experience as a systems analyst being part of a team in full-stack development within an Agile team environment.
  • Able to coach and teach others across the firm.
  • Demonstrated expertise of being an excellent collaborator and an ambassador the developers
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) along with solid understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices
  • Knowledge of open-source systems and inner-source repositories
  • Ability to collaborate across product teams to be the voice of developers and guide on product roadmap
  • Experience leveraging DevAssist tools such as GitHub Copilot and Gemini Code Assist to optimize development workflows
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Desire to be detailed, very responsive, and committed to quality
  • Experience working with the open-source community is a plus
  • Video editing skills is a plus
