Role summary

Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare (TMH) is seeking a Sr. Data Analyst to prepare complex data, create visualizations, and perform advanced analytics for internal and external clients. This role requires 5 years of relevant data management or healthcare IT experience, with a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Responsibilities include ensuring data integrity, working with management and data architects on database solutions, applying statistical methods for descriptive, predictive, and probabilistic analyses, and automating reports. Preferred skills include proficiency in SQL and business intelligence tools like Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI. The analyst will contribute to the organization's mission and strategic plan.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Your Role:

  • Prepares complex data, creates data visualizations, and performs advanced analytics for internal and external clients.

  • Ensures data integrity via accurate, multiple source data collection.
  • Works with management and data architects to determine user needs, build usable databases to store required information, create solutions so users can access data, create security plans and measures, and maintain database integrity.
  • Applies proper statistical methods to produce descriptive, predictive, and probabilistic analyses and reports.
  • Works with end users and other data analysts; ensures they can use and access data easily within customer defined timeframes.
  • Seeks opportunities to automate reports; surveys data sets proactively to find improvement opportunities, contributing to the organization's mission, vision, and strategic plan.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY:

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology (IT), computer science, data science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, business analytics, or a related field.

Required Experience:

  • Five (5) years of relevant data management or healthcare IT experience.

Preferred Experience:

  • Skilled in using:
  • Microsoft (MS) Office Suite
  • MS Structured Query Language (SQL) Server (and/or MySQL)
