Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to design, develop, and execute automated test suites for web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Selenium or Playwright, a solid understanding of QA processes, and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium or Playwright
  • Work closely with QA and development teams to identify testing requirements and contribute to detailed test plans
  • Perform manual testing when required to ensure complete coverage of functional and regression scenarios
  • Debug test failures, analyze root causes, and report defects with clear and detailed documentation
  • Track, verify, and follow up on bug fixes to ensure timely resolution
  • Ensure the performance, reliability, and scalability of automation test frameworks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including developers, product managers, and DevOps—to deliver high-quality product releases
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and best practices

Required Skills

  • Automation Tools: Selenium, Playwright
  • Version Control: Git
  • Testing: Manual testing, regression testing, functional testing
  • Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and defect lifecycle
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable test automation code
  • Good analytical and debugging skills
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities

Nice to Have (Optional)

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of basic scripting (Python, JavaScript, or similar)
  • Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.)
