
Java Selenium Playwright SDET
Role summary
Seeking an experienced SDET with strong skills in UI and API automation using frameworks like Selenium or Playwright with Java or Python. The role requires hands-on experience with testing tools such as jMeter, Postman, and databases like Snowflake, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and OracleDB. The candidate will work within an Agile Scrum team, analyze requirements, and contribute to the enhancement of existing automation frameworks. A good understanding of financial and wealth management domains is preferred. Excellent communication, analytical, and time management skills are essential.
Job Description
Must Have Skills:
- Proven experience in UI Automation and API Automation
- Analytical approach to test (Manual and Automation)
- Strong exposure UI automation framework such as selenium or playwright with Java or Python
- Hands on experience with automation tools like jMeter or Postman (For API testing), Snowflake, SQL server, PostgreSQL, oracleDB
- Good exposure testing multi-tier applications from UI -> Services-> API’s -> Database
- Strong functional and regression testing approach skills
- Understanding the business objectives. Working with users to formulate business & system testing requirements.
- Participate in Agile scrum team in analysis of customer requirements and user stories to identify acceptance test criteria
- Collaborative, open-minded approach to work
- Excellent Communication and presentation skills
- Strong ability to take ownership and run stakeholder meetings
- Be excellent at time management

Roles & Responsibilities
- Resource to be proficient in UI automation with playwright or selenium framework with additional exposure to SQL & API based testing.
- Resolve the problems in existing automation framework and enhance/extend these further
- Must have strong analytical approach for testing – Manual and Automation
- Work in Agile teams and must have knowledge of agile ceremonies
