Role summary

The Oracle GoldenGate Administrator / Data Engineer will be responsible for extracting data and managing data replication using Oracle GoldenGate. This role involves building and maintaining ETL pipelines, performing system administration and tuning, daily system monitoring, patching, software upgrades, and resolving production issues. The position requires strong skills in Oracle GoldenGate Classic architecture, Linux, PL/SQL, and familiarity with various database systems. Experience with HVR or Fivetran and data extraction from non-Oracle databases is a plus. The role is based in Ridley Park, PA, with a salary range of $100,000 to $130,000 per annum.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

Oracle Golden Gate Classic architecture(text based) and administration – Mandatory

Oracle Golden Gate New architecture(GUI based) - Plus

Data extract/transfer experience from Non-Oracle Databases

(Teradata, Amazon S3,SQL. Azure, GCP etc.)

HVR(High Value Replicator),FiveTran product administration and Data Engineering – is a Plus

Linux skill, PL/SQL , Jenkins job execution & Java awareness

Familiarity with couple of database systems

Responsibilities

Extract data and data replication in Oracle GG product

Building and maintaining ETL pipelines with Oracle Goldengate ( HVR also is a plus)

System administration and Tuning

Daily Systems Monitoring

Patching and software upgrades for product and servers

Break fix all production issues

Incident management and service requests

Upgrades/migrations/customizations

On-call Support

Base Salary Range : $100,000 to $130,000 Per Annum
