Role summary

Teachers Federal Credit Union is seeking a Deposit Product Manager to oversee product management and development for consumer and small business deposit portfolios. The role focuses on achieving profitability and growth objectives, acting as a key contact for Product Management. Responsibilities include analyzing existing products, identifying new opportunities, preparing product launches, collaborating on strategic direction, creating tactical plans and roadmaps, serving as a subject matter expert for the Retail line of business, designing and measuring targeted campaigns, leading cross-functional teams, managing annual budgets, forecasting financial drivers, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Summary
Manages product management and development activities supporting the consumer & small business deposit product portfolios. The manager ensures that deposit products reach profitability and growth objectives and serves as a principal point of contact for Product Management with our internal and external relationships.
Job Duties

  • Conduct regular reviews of existing products to ensure that the organization remains competitive. Identify opportunities for new consumer & small business products and feature enhancements. Prepare new product launches and major enhancements to existing products.
  • Collaborate with Vice President to establish, execute, evaluate and monitor the strategic direction of the consumer deposit product portfolios. Create tactical plans and product roadmaps for assigned products and enhancements.
  • Act as a primary resource and subject matter expert to the Retail line of business by providing expert product knowledge, product applications, and exception pricing support.
  • Design, launch, and measure targeted campaigns, partnering with stakeholders to drive progress against defined organizational KPIs.
  • Act as a team lead among cross functional teams to achieve effective solutions to complex issues. Assemble the appropriate resources from areas including marketing, operations, compliance, finance and administrative support to ensure the timely, cost-effective and efficient delivery of products and features.
  • Manage the annual budgeting and strategic planning activities for the consumer portfolio, which includes deposit flows, fee income, and ongoing management of budget variances.
  • Partner with the Finance team to forecast and monitor all drivers of the business: accounts, households, balances, margin, fee income, expense, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policy, and risk requirements.
  • Perform other duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisor

Qualifications & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS, BBA, etc.) required or a minimum of eight years directly related experience
  • Minimum of five years of product management, product development or product marketing experience required
  • Financial Services experience required
  • Intermediate Banking knowledge of Deposit Products preferred
  • Proficient in MS office suite of products – Excel, Word and PowerPoint

The good faith range for this position is $93,042 to $116,303 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
