Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (.NET Core) to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for the US Mortgage market. The candidate will work closely with frontend teams, architects, and product owners to deliver high-quality, performance-driven solutions, while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and proactive ownership.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend services using .NET / .NET Core
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend components supporting web and enterprise applications
• Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Ensure application performance, reliability, and scalability through efficient coding and optimization
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to maintain high-quality standards
• Work closely with US-based stakeholders to understand functional requirements
• Contribute to system design, technical improvements, and continuous enhancement of backend architecture

Skills and Competencies:

• 10+ years of experience in backend development with .NET / .NET Core and C#
• Strong experience in REST API development, SQL Server, and database design
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and API integrations
• Proficiency with Git version control and collaborative development practices
• US Mortgage domain experience is mandatory
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and a proactive attitude
