Senior Salesforce DevOps Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Salesforce CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Implement and manage Salesforce DevOps best practices, including version control, branching strategies, and automated deployments.
• Collaborate closely with Salesforce developers, administrators, and business stakeholders to streamline development and release processes.
• Manage Salesforce environments (sandboxes, scratch orgs) and govern release cycles including code promotion and rollback strategies.
• Automate metadata deployment, testing, and validation processes using Salesforce DX (SFDX) and related tools.
• Ensure secure and compliant deployments, including integration with identity, access control, and governance frameworks.
• Drive DevOps maturity within Salesforce landscape, including monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.
• Support integrations and deployments involving Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom Lightning components.
• Work in Agile teams to ensure continuous improvement and efficient delivery practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering with strong focus on Salesforce platform.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce DevOps tools (Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, Flosum, or similar).
• Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automation tools.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, metadata API, and Salesforce DX (SFDX).
• Experience working with Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Experience Cloud) and Lightning framework.
• Good knowledge of scripting/programming (Python, JavaScript, or similar) for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with containerization and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, release management, and cross-functional collaboration.
