About the Role

We’re growing our San Francisco engineering hub and hiring a Staff Software Engineer to act as a technical leader. You’ll own key product areas, set architecture and quality standards, mentor an elite engineering team, and make decisions that shape the product’s future. This is a role where you’ll contribute across full-stack, frontend, backend, and AI integrations, pushing both the product and yourself in deeply rewarding ways.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead technical direction: define architecture, reliability, and performance standards; make trade-offs explicit; maintain a high bar.
  • Build and mentor a team: hire engineers, elevate their skills, and foster a high-trust, high-feedback culture.
  • Work directly with customers: translate complex, high-leverage problems into shippable solutions; measure outcomes.
  • Own critical systems end-to-end across SF & Dublin offices.
  • Partner with product, design, and GTM teams to share context and push decisions forward.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of engineering experience, ideally at startups (Series A–C).
  • Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical decisions.
  • Deep expertise in modern web technologies, product architecture, and AI integrations.
  • Ability to tackle high-impact, complex problems and own systems end-to-end.
  • Passion for building innovative, high-performance products in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $230,000 – $250,000 + equity
