About the Role
As a
Senior Software Engineer
, you’ll take ownership of core product areas and help shape the technical direction of an ambitious AI-driven platform. This is a highly hands-on role where you’ll work across the stack—building everything from real-time AI systems to high-performance user interfaces—while mentoring teammates and driving key architectural decisions.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead development of advanced prompt engineering and retrieval pipelines powering customer interactions.
- Architect scalable systems handling thousands of daily conversations across platforms like Zendesk, Intercom, and Salesforce.
- Build real-time, multimodal AI simulations across voice, video, and chat.
- Drive high-performance frontend experiences using Next.js.
- Make key decisions on architecture, tooling, and system design.
- Mentor engineers and elevate engineering standards across the team.
- Collaborate closely with founders in a fast-paced, highly iterative environment.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in Series A–C startups.
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical decisions.
- Strong expertise in modern web technologies, product architecture, or AI integrations.
- Ability to work across the stack (frontend, backend, AI systems).
- Strong ownership mindset and comfort with ambiguity.
- Passion for building impactful, user-facing products.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary:
$190,000 – $230,000
- Equity:
0.5–0.7% ownership
- On-site role in San Francisco with a highly collaborative team environment
