Role summary

TELUS is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead systems and process transformations for its System Experience Evolution (SEE) team. This role involves driving high-impact initiatives, facilitating executive workshops, aligning roadmaps, and supporting new market launches. The Senior Program Manager will manage program budgets, resources, and cross-functional partnerships with product, marketing, CIO, and operations teams. Key responsibilities include identifying growth opportunities, improving execution, and championing collaboration through clear communication and reporting structures. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a program leader role, strong business and financial acumen, and experience in change management and managing ambiguity. Bilingualism in English and French is required.

What you’ll do

You'll drive dynamic, high-impact work across the business: lead transformation initiatives for critical systems, facilitating executive workshops, aligning capability roadmaps, and supporting new market launches — all while building organizational capability and ensuring sustainable adoption. You'll keep our programs on track — ensuring Canada's best team continues to deliver results that matter by:

  • Lead strategic initiatives and multi-workstream programs measured by delivery imelines, stakeholder satisfaction, and business outcomes
  • Solve complex, ambiguous business challenges with clear, actionable strategies
  • Establish and lead program steering committees and governance structures to ensure alignment and accountability
  • Manage program budgets and resource allocation across workstreams, optimizing capacity and maximizing delivery impact
  • Partner cross-functionally with product, marketing, CIO, and operations teams to drive alignment, manage risk, and execute at scale
  • Identify growth opportunities by improving execution, elevating customer experience, and accelerating delivery across community builds and customer programs
  • Champion collaboration — establish communication cadences, dashboards, and reporting structures that keep stakeholders informed and celebrate mil estones, wins,and learnings across our national team

## Qualifications

What you bring

  • 7–10 years of professional experience, minimum 5 years in a program leader role with industry leading program management tools and best practices
  • Bilingual (English/French) — fluency required
  • Telecom industry experience — deep understanding of the sector
  • Cross-functional leadership — proven ability to unite diverse teams and perspectives to deliver cohesive, high-impact outcomes
  • Collaborative influence — experience partnering with VPs, Directors, and senior leaders; skilled at influencing without authority
  • Change management - Experience managing organizational change and building adoption strategies
  • Comfort with ambiguity — you create clarity, structure, and momentum in fast-evolving environments
  • Strong business and financial acumen — you understand the numbers and the strategy behind them
  • Proactive and solution-oriented — curious, initiative-driven, and energized by shaping ambitious growth programs
  • Strategic execution background — ability to connect high-level vision to on-the- ground delivery

Great-to-haves

  • PMP certification
  • Familiarity with TELUS systems and processes
  • Experience with AI/ML pipelines, LLMs, or NLP applications
  • University degree in business, communications, project management, or a related field.

Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.

Salary Range: $86,000-$160,000

Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%
