Job Title: Data Analyst

Client: Enterprise Technology Company - Redmond, WA

Location: 100% remote

Rate: $48-$50/ hour

Duration: Through 6/30/26

Purpose of the Role

The Data Analyst will join the Analytics and Data Science team supporting our client's Enterprise Technology gaming studio, with a primary focus on reporting initiatives for a motorsport live program. This role plays a critical part in enabling data‑driven decision‑making across game development and business operations by delivering high‑quality dashboards, reports, and analytical insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into analytical deliverables
  • Query, transform, and analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights
  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards to support a self‑service analytics environment
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses related to player behavior, game features, and live operations
  • Develop clear and well‑structured analytical narratives for stakeholders
  • Perform quality assurance on reports and dashboards to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting standards and analytics workflows

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience

Experience

  • Professional experience in an analytical or data‑focused role supporting business or product decision‑making
  • Demonstrated experience working with large, complex datasets in a production environment
  • *Enterprise Technology experience (v- availability required)*

Core Skills

  • Strong proficiency in SQL or Python for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
  • Hands‑on experience building dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or comparable enterprise visualization tools
  • Solid understanding of basic statistics and analytical methods
  • Ability to translate data into clear insights for both technical and non‑technical audiences

Candidate Requirements

Mandatory qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience with SQL or Python
  • Proven experience building dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools

Preferred background:

  • Exposure to the gaming industry or a strong personal interest in games
  • Familiarity with Python or PySpark

Assessment Process

  • One technical assessment round, approximately 30 minutes in length

The assessment will evaluate:

  • SQL proficiency

Pay: $48.00 - $50.00 per hour
