Role summary
The Ash Group is seeking a Security Analyst for a full-time hybrid position in Aurora, CO, with a salary around $100K. A relevant security certification is also required.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Serve as a communicator, ensuring alignment and understanding between all parties to achieve optimal security outcomes.
- Coordinate with the Information Security Office's (ISO) Engagement team to evaluate and consult on information security and privacy risk.
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives to protect water utilities' Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) environments, ensuring resilient, secure water services. Engage all levels of the business to identify risk and work with both business leadership and the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to design and execute on risk assessment, remediation, and the maturation of information protection processes that will support compliance with industry, federal, and legal requirements as well as city security and privacy requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, engineering, or a related field is a must.
- Must have 4+ years of recent experience as an Analyst in cybersecurity that includes information security, audit, technology risk assessment, or operations of OT, SCADA, or ICS environments
- Experience in the application of NIST Cybersecurity Framework
- Progressively responsible experience in risk management, incident response, and threat analysis
- Previous hands-on SOC or security analyst work experience OR cybersecurity audit experience is required Ability to communicate technical information to an executive team
- Utility experience (water, electric, oil & gas) experience would be a plus
- Must have a valid Colorado Driver's License
- An applicable security certification, such as CISSP, CISA, Security+, or comparable, or the ability to obtain approved certification within 6 months is required
