AI Program Manager
Role summary
Seeking an AI Program Manager to lead AI and GenAI initiatives, aligning strategy and execution with business goals. Responsibilities include managing the full program lifecycle, establishing governance and risk management standards, identifying AI value creation opportunities, defining roadmaps and KPIs, and collaborating with technical teams and vendors. The ideal candidate will possess strong AI/ML knowledge, program management experience, and excellent communication skills for executive presentations and stakeholder engagement.
Role Summary
Looking for an AI Program Manager to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of AI and GenAI initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals. This role oversees cross-functional delivery, drives responsible AI adoption, and partners with stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the end-to-end lifecycle of AI/GenAI programs, from ideation and feasibility through deployment.
- Establish AI governance standards, model monitoring expectations, and risk management practices.
- Collaborate with business units to identify opportunities for AI value creation.
- Define program roadmaps, milestones, KPIs, and delivery frameworks.
- Partner with technical teams to ensure successful model development, testing, and integration.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and AI platform evaluations.
- Develop change management and training plans to accelerate AI adoption across the company.
- Communicate program status, risks, and outcomes to leadership and cross-functional partners.
Required Competencies
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, GenAI capabilities, and enterprise AI applications.
- Proven experience in program/project management frameworks (Agile, SAFe, or hybrid).
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills.
- Experience with responsible AI, data privacy, and model governance best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and AI tools (Azure AI, OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, etc.).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of program management experience, including AI/ML initiatives.
- PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certification preferred.
- Experience in large enterprise environments.
