Role summary

This is a 6-month remote contract position for a Data Analyst. Job Description:

Ø The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, extracting, transforming, analyzing and reporting high-quality data to derive insights into Surgery’s product and manufacturing sites’ performance.

Ø The Data Analyst will develop and deliver presentations with the intended audience of supporting Surgery and Client Interventional Segment key senior leadership and Client Executive Leadership.

Ø As a Data Analyst at \*\*\*., you will play a crucial role in transforming complex data into actionable insights, supporting strategic decision-making across various departments.

Ø You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement within our medical device manufacturing and distribution processes.

Job Responsibilities:

Ø Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources, including internal databases, external market research, and operational systems.

Ø Perform in-depth statistical analysis, data modeling, and data mining to uncover key business drivers and identify areas for optimization.

Ø Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate findings and insights to stakeholders at all levels.

Ø Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Marketing, Sales, and Operations, to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.

Ø Identify data quality issues and work to implement solutions to ensure data integrity and reliability.

Ø Assist in the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures.

Ø Support the evaluation of new technologies and methodologies for data analysis and reporting.

Ø Provide training and support to colleagues on data analysis tools and best practices.

Job Qualifications:

Ø Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.

Ø 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role.

Ø Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

Ø Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView).

Ø Solid understanding of statistical analysis techniques and data modeling principles.

Ø Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis is a plus.

Ø Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Ø Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences.

Ø Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ø Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Ø Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry is a plus.
