General Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic General Manager to lead our retail operations with energy, vision, and a customer-centric approach. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily store functions, drive sales growth, manage staff, and ensure exceptional customer service. Duties

• Lead and manage all aspects of store operations, including sales, inventory control, and customer service excellence.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members while providing ongoing employee orientation, training, and development to foster a high-performing team.
• Supervise staff schedules, shift management, and payroll processing to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Implement effective marketing initiatives and promotional activities to attract customers and increase store visibility.
• Maintain strong communication with staff through regular meetings and coaching sessions to promote teamwork and motivation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and legal regulations across all store functions.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience
• Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and payroll administration.
• Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, POS systems, purchasing, cashiering, and retail math.
• Excellent leadership skills with experience in team management, training & development, and shift supervision.
• Knowledge of retail sales strategies including merchandising, pricing, marketing, and store presentation.
• Proficiency in budgeting, cash handling procedures, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks.
• Exceptional communication skills coupled with organizational skills for effective time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $64,651.46 per year
