Role summary

This is a contract, hybrid UX Designer role focused on execution within a large-scale digital content platform. - Design and enhance

- Execute
detail-oriented UX work

- Produce:

- High-fidelity designs
- Interactive prototypes (used for stakeholder and leadership reviews)
- Define and document:
- End-to-end user journeys
- Complex user flows
- Clear annotations and design rationale
- Collaborate closely with:
- Product Managers
- Engineers
- UX Researchers
- Support research activities by:
- Building testable prototypes
- Preparing research materials
- Incorporating usability feedback into designs
- Work across multiple time zones with:
- An in‑office design team
- International design partners
- Distributed product stakeholders

Skills & Experience Required

Must-Have Qualifications

- 3–7 years of relevant UX design experience
- Strong experience designing
web-based interfaces
- Advanced proficiency in
Figma
- Proven ability to design
complex workflows and editor-style tools
- Strong UX documentation and design communication skills
- High attention to detail and visual polish
- Comfort working from
defined requirements and task lists
- Portfolio demonstrating:
- End-to-end UX workflows
- Tool‑based or text‑editing experiences
- Clearly articulated design decisions

Strong Nice-to-Haves

- Prototyping and motion design experience, such as:
- Advanced Figma prototyping
- Principle, After Effects, Framer, Origami (any one)
- Experience with:
- Video or media editing software
- Timeline-based or editor-style tools
- Exposure to:
- AI-assisted user experiences
- Conversational or text-based editing interfaces
- Accessibility awareness, particularly:
- Captioning and subtitle experiences
- Designing for users with hearing or accessibility needs
- Prior experience on
large-scale consumer platforms
