Job Summary
Ascott Parc Event Centre is seeking professional and energetic Servers to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced event environments and are passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
As a Server, you will play a key role in executing weddings, corporate functions, and private events with a high level of service, attention to detail, and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and professional food & beverage service to guests during events
- Set up banquet tables, linens, glassware, and service stations
- Serve plated meals, buffet service, and beverages efficiently
- Clear tables and maintain cleanliness throughout the event
- Assist with event setup and teardown as required
- Work closely with bartenders, kitchen staff, and event coordinators to ensure smooth service
- Follow all health, safety, and food handling standards
- Deliver a warm and welcoming guest experience at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, banquet serving, or food service is an asset
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Smart Serve Certification (required)
- Flexible availability (evenings, weekends, and holidays required)
- Professional appearance and positive attitude

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.75-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 per week
