Role summary

The Clinical Quality Data & Relations Analyst (CQDRA) is responsible for advancing Accountable Care Organization (ACO) performance through data analysis, clinical partnership, and quality improvement. This role involves analyzing clinical and operational data, driving Quality Incentive Initiative (QII) performance, and collaborating with providers to enhance patient outcomes. The CQDRA acts as a liaison between analytics and clinical operations, translating data into actionable insights, optimizing workflows, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality reporting standards. Key responsibilities include data analysis, dashboard development, performance reporting, clinical practice engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Role Overview

The Clinical Quality Data & Relations Analyst (CQDRA) plays a critical role in advancing Accountable Care Organization (ACO) performance through data-driven strategy, clinical partnership, and quality improvement initiatives. This role is responsible for analyzing clinical and operational data, driving Quality Incentive Initiative (QII) performance, and collaborating with providers and internal teams to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.

The CQDRA serves as a key liaison between analytics and clinical operations—translating complex data into actionable insights, supporting workflow optimization, and ensuring alignment with regulatory and quality reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Performance Reporting

  • Analyze clinical, claims, and EMR data to identify performance trends, gaps, and opportunities
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and automated processes to support ACO initiatives
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for clinical and non-technical audiences
  • Monitor and report on progress toward ACO quality benchmarks and QII goals

Clinical Quality & Practice Engagement

  • Partner with physicians, practice staff, and administrators to implement performance improvement strategies
  • Assess clinical workflows and support process re-engineering to improve efficiency and outcomes
  • Develop and execute action plans to address quality gaps and drive measurable improvement
  • Deliver training and education on quality measures, documentation, and reporting requirements
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on ACO quality programs and CMS measure specifications

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal leadership, operations, and medical directors to align on strategic initiatives
  • Communicate risks, barriers, and progress toward quality and operational goals
  • Support development of internal documentation, reporting standards, and user guides

Regulatory Compliance & Quality Standards

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CMS ACO quality reporting requirements and regulatory guidelines
  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA and all applicable federal and state regulations
  • Support audit readiness and compliance through documentation, training, and monitoring

Qualifications

Required

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex healthcare data
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to diverse audiences
  • Proven ability to build relationships with physicians, clinical staff, and leadership
  • High attention to detail, organization, and project management capability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

  • Experience in healthcare analytics, clinical quality, population health, or ACO operations
  • Familiarity with value-based care models and CMS quality programs
  • Experience working with EMR/EHR systems and healthcare data tools
