Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions (PLCs, HMIs, robotics) for manufacturing processes.
- Program and configure industrial control systems, including PLCs, SCADA, and motion control systems.
- Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on existing automation equipment and systems to minimize downtime.
- Optimize manufacturing processes through the integration of new automation technologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to identify automation opportunities and support project execution.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies in all automation projects.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting PLCs (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA systems.
- Demonstrated experience with industrial robotics (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) including programming and integration.
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP).
- Ability to design, commission, and optimize automated manufacturing processes and control systems.
- Experience with sensor technology, motor control systems, and industrial vision systems.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards and machine safeguarding principles.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence, Sick)
