Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for manufactured products.
  • Collaborate with R&D and production teams to understand product specifications and identify critical test parameters.
  • Perform functional, performance, and reliability testing on components, sub-assemblies, and finished goods.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and document issues in a clear and concise manner.
  • Troubleshoot and debug test failures, working with engineering to find root causes.
  • Maintain and calibrate test equipment and ensure its proper functioning.
  • Develop and implement automated testing solutions to improve efficiency and coverage.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools relevant to manufacturing (e.g., LabVIEW, TestStand, Python with pytest).
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation of test results to identify trends and root causes.
  • Understanding of hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and statistical process control (SPC).
  • Experience with scripting languages for test automation and data manipulation.
