Position Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Data Analyst to join our growing Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will transform complex datasets into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. You will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to define KPIs, build dashboards, and deliver data solutions that scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
  • Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Write optimized SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases.
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, and business leaders to define metrics and success criteria.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives and answer key business questions.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows in collaboration with the data engineering team.
  • Perform A/B testing analysis and communicate results with statistical rigor.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across reporting systems.
  • Present findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Stay current on data analytics best practices, tools, and emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of hands-on experience in a data analyst or related role.
  • Proficiency in SQL with experience querying complex, large-scale databases.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or equivalent).
  • Strong working knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and automation.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift a plus).
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with statistical modeling, machine learning concepts, or predictive analytics.
  • Knowledge of dbt (data build tool) or similar transformation frameworks.
  • Exposure to product analytics platforms (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Google Analytics).
  • Master's degree in a quantitative field.
  • Prior experience in the technology, SaaS, or e-commerce industry.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary: $75,000 – $110,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
