What you’ll do

  • *Vision and Strategy:* Lead the NAM business transformation by defining and aligning a clear, quality-driven vision grounded in lean principles with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). Communicate this vision effectively across the business to embed continuous improvement and operational discipline.
  • *Execution and Leadership:* Design and plan the business transformation strategy using tools like the Hoshin Matrix. Break down transformation programs into achievable projects with clear scope and ownership. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver measurable improvements in quality, lean processes, and business objectives.
  • *Governance and Change Management:* Establish a governance framework clarifying decision rights, ownership, and accountability. Provide change management guidance using established frameworks and leverage global resources to ensure successful project delivery.
  • *Digital Enablement:* Utilize digital technologies to enhance leadership alignment, collaboration, and connectivity across NAM operations.
  • *Performance Monitoring:* Develop and deliver dashboards to monitor business readiness, adoption, and benefits realization, using data analytics to visualize progress and impact.
  • *Travel Requirements:* Approximately 30% travel to local sites within NAM to support onsite visits, facilitation, and collaboration.
  • *Safety First:* Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.

What you’ll bring

Must-haves:

  • Proven experience in business transformation, lean manufacturing, and management with 15+ years in relevant industries such as automotive, heavy industrial, or mining.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including training and coaching capabilities.
  • Solid understanding and practical application of lean principles and tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Heijunka, Obeya management, 3P, and SMED.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience, with a strong problem-solving mindset and ability to drive continuous improvement.
  • Background in establishing quality systems, standard work, and root cause corrective action (RCCA) programs.
  • Experience in digital transformation and leveraging information systems for business outcomes.
  • Experience leading quality and lean teams, with a track record of delivering strong savings and operational stability.
