The Next Generation Scholars Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing an after-school and summer program designed to support high school students in preparing for post-secondary education and career training. This role includes program development, staff supervision, budget management, and direct student engagement. The ideal candidate will be passionate about youth development, college and career readiness, and leadership growth.
This work is right for you if you have:
- A love of encouraging youth and family
- The ability to clearly communicate and effectively listen to children, parents/guardians, members, and other Y associates
- Prior experience with outcomes-based youth programming, including planning and implementation of trips and curricula
- Prior experience with the development of effective partnerships that enhance youth development programming
- A bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field
