Head of Quality Assurance

We have an urgent,
Strategic role (Assurance Leader)
for the
EVP – Corporate Finance
. It can be based out of US, but need to be a
seasoned leader
who can not only create a Test strategy for large scale Implementations but also prepare Exec reports for C Level execs.

Role: Quality Assurance Leader

Location: California, if not good profile across US willing to work PST Zone.

Duration: Long-term Contract

The Assurance Leader must:

• Develop and lead a comprehensive, end-to-end Test Strategy combining both Technical and Business Testing into a unified plan.
• Exhibit diligence, proactive communication, and the capability to guide all participants through every assurance phase.
• Deliver updates directly to me or another senior leader, ensuring that key stakeholders—including Business Sponsors, Steering Groups, Service Partners, and Operational Teams—remain informed.

Key requirements for the role include:

• Ensuring the Test Strategy is comprehensive, fully resourced across all streams, and remains within budget.
• Producing a clear, actionable approach and a detailed end to end plan—without exception.
• Driving a rigorous Stage Gate Process, establishing clear criteria for every project phase: from preparation, through cut-over and Go-Live, to post-Go-Live validation.

Additional essential responsibilities:

• Designing an integrated test strategy that encompasses all teams and partners, including Mock, Parallel, and Automation strategies, through close collaboration with the Business.
• Creating Integrated Test Plans and Traceability Matrices for every requirement.
• Enforcing a Stage Gate Assurance Framework to guarantee active involvement and buy-in from the business, sponsors, and stakeholders.

The Assurance Leader will also:

• Oversee all aspects of Test Management execution, ensuring timely identification and resolution of issues or defects.
• Provide regular, clear reporting at Steering Committees and Senior Forums to keep everyone aligned and informed.
• Serve as the primary contact for any end-to-end Testing concerns, working closely with the Programme Leader to drive prompt, effective solutions.

Given the critical nature of this position, I am seeking someone with substantial, hands-on experience in testing and implementation assurance — not just basic Test Management or short-term projects. Only candidates who meet these criteria will be considered.
