Role summary

Threat Management Group seeks a Program Manager for Air Advisor Academic Support at the USAF Expeditionary Center (EC) in Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ. This role requires a Master's degree and 2 years of experience leading formal military education and training. The candidate must have prior management experience as a military field-grade officer (O-4+) or senior non-commissioned officer (E7+), and experience deployed in advisory or related roles. Responsibilities include overseeing contract performance, ensuring adherence to USAF policies for student and instructor training, coordinating academic activities, and providing briefings and reports. A Secret clearance is preferred. This is an onsite, full-time position.

Overview: Threat Management Group is looking for qualified candidates to provide Training Support at the USAF Expeditionary Center (EC), specifically providing education and training for Air Advisors and other airmen who engage with partner nation counterparts in support of Combatant Commands (CCMDs), their respective Air Components, Headquarters Air Force (HAF), Major Commands (MAJCOMs), and other validated taskings.

Candidates must have/be able to:

· A master’s degree from an accredited school or university.

· Experience in leading formal military education and training is mandatory.

· Prior management and supervisory experience as a military field-grade officer (O-4 or above) or a senior non-commissioned officer ((SNCO) (E7 or above)).

· Deployed as a Military Advisor, Political-Military (Pol-Mil) Affairs Strategist (PAS) Officer, Regional Affairs Strategist (RAS) Officer, Foreign Area Officer (FAO), Foreign Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) member, attaché or security assistance officer (SCO), or in a position equivalent to one of the above having military advisory experience.

· Completed Air Command and Staff College, Senior NCO Academy, or sister school equivalent, in-residence or by correspondence.

· Obtain/maintain a secret clearance

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Shall be responsible for the performance of the work under this contract. The name of this person and alternate(s) shall be designated in writing to the CO upon initial assignment and whenever a change in personnel is made.

· Have full authority for the contractor and all contractor employees on all matters relating to daily operation of the contract.

· If on leave or off station, designate an alternate who is on station and who can assume Site Manager duties. In this case, the Site Manager will notify the Flight Chief, COR, and Course Director in writing.

· Ensure all student education and training is conducted in accordance with USAF EOS- established policies and procedures

· Ensure and facilitate instructor training, qualification, currency, and instructor evaluations are conducted in accordance with EOS-established policies and procedures

· Ensure government-provided student and instructor feedback tools are used in accordance with EOS-established policies and procedures (Appendix C-Publications).

· Coordinate academic activities with the AA Flight Commander, Course Director, and COR, and other organizations and customers as appropriate.

· Attend recurring AA Flight meetings as required. Provide update briefings to Flight Commander, Course Director, and COR as required.

· Make recommendations to Flight Commander, Course Director, and COR on all matters relating to efficient and effective operations of the school.

· Develop/present communications/information or decision briefings for various agencies and their leadership concerning Air Advisor education and training programs and requirements.

· Develop and submit required documentation, plans and reports
