Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Data Engineer based in Boston, MA, with flexibility for remote work. The Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives. Responsibilities include managing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, data modeling, and ensuring data warehouses and analytics platforms operate efficiently. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to interpret and implement data-driven solutions for complex business challenges.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Data Engineering, Data Modeling, and building robust data systems
  • Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and Data Warehousing
  • Strong skills in Data Analytics, including interpreting and deriving insights from large datasets
  • Proficiency in programming and querying languages such as Python, SQL, or relevant alternatives
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data findings for diverse audiences
