*Senior Backend Engineer (Infra)*
for a high-growth (Series B) AI healthcare startup transforming how patients access life-saving treatment. Backed by top-tier investors and growing quickly, this team is building critical systems used by major health providers across the US.

As a senior engineer, you will operate across backend systems and infrastructure, owning performance, reliability, and scalability of a mission-critical platform. This is a hybrid role where you will contribute directly to application code while also shaping the infrastructure that powers it.

Key Requirements and Responsibilities:

• 7 to 10 years of experience across backend engineering, infrastructure, or SRE roles
• Strong programming skills in Python and TypeScript
• Experience building and scaling backend systems in production environments
• Deep experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and Terragrunt
• Strong understanding of CI and CD systems and developer workflows
• Experience improving application performance, latency, and scalability
• Ability to optimise databases, queries, caching, and system dependencies
• Strong knowledge of observability, SLIs, and SLO-driven environments
• Comfortable owning production systems and leading incident response
• Background in startup environments with a generalist mindset
