Software Engineer I - Device Drivers
Role summary
Torc is seeking a Software Engineer I specializing in Device Drivers to develop and maintain software for configuring and interfacing with sensors in autonomous trucks. This role involves writing integration software, performing system-level debugging, optimizing performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with 1-5+ years of experience in embedded Linux development, C/C++ programming, and device drivers. Experience with build systems, debugging tools, and operating system concepts is essential. Familiarity with automotive standards and Agile methodologies is a plus.
