Compensation: $60,000 – $75,000 Base + Performance Bonuses
On-Target Earnings: $80,000 – $100,000+
Reports To: Founder / Sales Leadership

TORQ Coatings is scaling fast and we’re looking for an Inside Sales Manager to build, lead, and own our follow-up and rehash department.
This is not a sit-back management role.
You will be in it.
On the phones. Coaching your team. Building systems. Driving revenue.
If you understand that the money is in the follow-up, this role is for you.
The Opportunity
You will be responsible for turning missed opportunities into revenue by building a high-performing inside sales team that lives in the pipeline.
You’ll work closely with outside sales, marketing, and leadership to ensure no lead gets left behind.
What You’ll Own
Team Leadership & Recruiting
\* Hire, train, and manage inside sales reps
\* Build a team that is consistent, hungry, and accountable
\* Set the tone for activity, follow-up, and performance
Coaching & Development
\* Daily call coaching and role-playing
\* Review calls and improve conversion rates
\* Develop reps into strong closers over the phone
Follow-Up & Rehash Strategy
\* Own all unsold estimates and lead follow-up
\* Build systems to re-engage and convert past opportunities
\* Ensure consistent touchpoints across all leads
Pipeline Management
\* Maintain a clean, organized CRM
\* Track all lead stages and follow-up cadence
\* Ensure no opportunity falls through the cracks
Performance & KPIs
\* Track call volume, contact rate, close rate, and revenue
\* Improve conversion rates across the board
\* Report performance to leadership weekly
Cross-Team Collaboration
\* Work with outside sales to close deals
\* Align with marketing on lead quality and performance
\* Support promotions and financing conversations
What Success Looks Like
\* Inside sales team consistently hitting activity and revenue targets
\* Increased close rate on unsold estimates and rehash pipeline
\* Clean CRM with strong follow-up systems
\* No missed opportunities or “dead leads”
\* Strong collaboration with outside sales team
What We’re Looking For
\* 2–5+ years of inside sales or call center leadership experience
\* Proven ability to build and manage a sales team
\* Strong closer over the phone
\* Objection handling and follow-up expertise
\* Data-driven and KPI-focused
\* High accountability and leadership presence
Bonus Points
\* Home services or home improvement experience
\* Experience with CRM systems and automation tools
\* Experience working with outside sales teams
\* Familiarity with financing conversations
