Role Description

We are seeking a Software Engineering Intern to help build and scale TradeForm's AI-driven hardware procurement platform. As a summer intern on the founding team, you will work directly alongside the founders to develop features, ship product, and tackle real engineering challenges across the stack. This is a full-time, on-site internship located in San Francisco, CA, for Summer 2026, offering a unique opportunity to do meaningful work at an early-stage startup shaping the future of procurement technology.

Qualifications

  • Strong software development skills with experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar.
  • Expertise in AI/ML frameworks, algorithms, and implementing machine learning models in production environments.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, and experience with modern DevOps tools for deployment and monitoring.
  • Hands-on experience with database design, management, and working with relational and non-relational databases.
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in hardware manufacturing or procurement workflows is a plus.
  • Previous startup experience and a passion for building a founding culture are advantageous.
